At Gallerie 13 in Mechanicsburg, I'm one of two featured artists for the month of August. Brownyn Jean Hughes (whose work is absolutely fantastic) invited me to show with her this month and needless to say, I was flattered. It all happened pretty quickly, but I had just enough time to prepare, and enough work to fill up a wall.... so here I am!
I spent all last week framing and making prints. Sunday I spent the day hanging up my work at the gallery. I've still got 1 or 2 more things I might frame and put up, but not quite sure yet.

Yes they are :)
They're what remains of my 30 bugs in 30 days series (24 of them).
I'm going to print the ones that've been sold and put fill in the holes with them. I am not sure the prints of the cards will be for sale, but I do want to accurately represent the entire series.

I was just reading over your recent blog posts and had to say how sorry I am about the loss of your grandmother.
I was closer to my grandmother than to anyone else in the family. She was awesome -- and I have never, ever stopped missing her.
Sounds like you got a really good one, too. You honor her with your memories.
