(No... we didn't participate in their birthday party package but we did see them setting one up and it looked pretty cool, hehe.)
Reptiland was awesome. One thing that I enjoyed most about it was that it was big enough to see lots of different animals, yet not so overwhelmingly huuuuge that you felt like you had to rush if you wanted to get to see EVERYTHING. I liked that we could stay at an exhibit for as long as we wanted and just take everything in.
When we arrived, we got a quick bite to eat at the Crocodile Creek Deli and then headed out to see the outdoor exhibits. The first things we saw were turtles:
Last but not least, check it out. Turtle snuggling, or probably the closest thing to snuggling that turtles do. Can you say, Awwwwwwww?
I'm sure some of these will become drawings or paintings in the relatively near future.... Reptile and amphibian fans, stay tuned!
I got lots of fantastic pictures that I'd like to share, but will create several Reptiland posts for them so as not to make one post too overwhelming.
If you're going to be in PA and you'd like to plan a trip to Reptiland yourself, go here:

Those turtles are sooo cute! :3
I wish I could go!
Happy belated Birthday, Samantha! ...and many mooooore ;-)
Those turtles look content, don't they? I'm glad you had fun, I would have too.
I saw my turtle friend at the side of the road again, by the forest's edge munchin on some grass. I was glad to see him/her again (and alive!!!) I'm always worried about wildlife and animals in general here because people want to kill everything - I just don't understand it.
Anyway, glad you had fun! Did you get a chance to vote in my Pet Costume Contest at all? Voting will be till Wedn. 10/28 (that's my daughter's birthday - she'll be 32) and then on Thursday I'm having a Trick or Treat Giveaway, if you want to play! I figured that since I can't sell my stuff, I'm going to start giving it away in contests and such!
Love ya,
Doris and Gizzy ;-)
Thank you guys for the comments! :)
We used to have a box turtle at our old house, too... We named him "Speedy."
Doris, I definitely voted, but I'll go stop by and see who is in the lead!
Yes, your daughter is just 1 year older than me. I didn't realize we were so close in age!
Oh! I love turtles! I have 4 that live freely in my backyard. They are named for movie stars.
